Group SIRAIL represents more than 650 people and 6 production plants (2x France, Germany, Slovakia, Tunisia and Morocco) with a turnover of + 50 Meuros.

Within the development of our service around the historic jobs of wiring/Integration, we look for a project manager to pilot the deployment of a large-scale project of electrical system installation in trains to Denmark

Overall purpose of the job:

Plan and manage all Installation activities for the project and maintain its performance



Installation Team set-up/ Ramp Up (From one team of 4/5 People to 4 team) located all over Denmark

Develop / maintain Installation team leaders competencies

Manage people mobility within the country to optimize the work load considering all legal national / union rules

Manage worker team trough team leader support (determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities, based on work priority)

Deploy Installation processes, methods and tools and contribute to their improvement through return of experience (REX): Put in place optimal process to ensure a fast installation respecting quality and safety

Adjust/ Optimize team workload regarding customer planning variation

Direct interface with customer for installation and commissioning activities

Participate in all site and follow-up meetings, report site progress and site constraints

Ensure communication between all parts of the operation (suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, quality team and clients).

On-Time execution of Installation works, Customer satisfaction

Monitor and report Installation performance on project

Manage the provisional and final inspections and ensure the clearance of all installation remarks

Ensure the client satisfaction and keep him informed about the site installation planning and progress of work

Monitor quality standards

Monitor productivity/performance/ Change orders

Responsible for global costs of project Improvement and profitability


Management :
Direct management from 1 to 4 installation Team Leader  + indirect management 10 to 50 workers

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: University degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)

Behavioural competencies:

Customer focused

Project profitabilty oriented

Good communication skills with external and internal customers

Ability to work under pressure

Technical skills & Experience                               

Minimum 5 Years of Experience of managing Installation/Construction electromechanical activities

Experience in Railway (Preferred)

Ability to manage customer with high level of reporting and claims' skill

Language Skills: Fluent in English and French (written/ spoken), German understanding. Danish is an advantage


Job Location:

You will be based in North Germany or Denmark.

You may have to manage projects all over Europe (first project in Denmark)
